LaPorte is a hidden gem for antique hunters. both in their downtown shops, and the neighboring barn shops.  LaPorte celebrates art with the vibrant Plaza 618 mural and the Thaddeus C. Gallery. Visitors can also enjoy playing giant musical instruments around town, part of LaPorte’s “Make a Joyful Noise” initiative.  Farmed & Forged Market is a great place to find food and treats on  a Sunday.
