June 02 - June 03, 2018
Be part of the Yellow River Festival celebrating Marshall County (IN) history, encompassing the years 1840 through 1940’s. Experience period music and dancing, storytelling, Indian dances and demonstrations – something for everyone! Families of all ages will enjoy period reenactments, traditional food, rustic crafts and cultural activities with focus on our wonderful history.
A major part of the festival is a focus on the Yellow River itself and the environment around it. We want to help our community better understand the ecological significance of the river and its relationship to Marshall County history and the larger geographic region. Delicious food and creative crafts reflecting the historical period are sold by not-for-profit groups.
