Sweet Trees: Sap, Syrup and ALL Things Maple

• Saturday, March 6
• Bendix Woods County Park: Glenn Bauer Shelter
• Discover how trees make sugar and how we harvest and turn it into maple syrup! Tour the sugar bush, tap a tree, hang a bucket and visit the sugar house. Enjoy a hot drink and maple treat after your adventure!
• Fee is $15 per family or group (up to 6 people). Each group will take home a ½ pint of pure Bendix Woods Maple Syrup!
• Sign-up for a 1-hour time slot between 11am and 3pm.
• Advanced registration and payment required by March 3.

Maple Sugar Stroll

• Saturday, March 27 or Sunday, March 28
• Bendix Woods County Park: Glenn Bauer Shelter
• Enjoy a walking tour through the Bendix Woods sugar bush to see traditional Native American and pioneer sugar making methods and at the sugar house, see modern syrup production in action!
• Fee is $10/group of up to 6 people.
• Sign-up for a time slot between 10am and 4pm either day.
• Advance registration and payment required by March 24.
