Ice Fishing Derby

Join Friends of Fishing & Valpo Parks for the 12th annual Ice Fishing Derby! Prizes will be awarded to the longest measured fish in each category. All fish must be measured by 12 pm. All Indiana state fishing regulations apply. Bass and Walleye can be measured and released if below the required length.  The event will only take place if there is safe ice.  Should there be any questions about the event, please contact the Parks Office or visit the Friends of Fishing Facebook group for updates.

• Location: Rogers Lakewood Park, Program Center
• Time: 5 am-Noon
• Prizes: Awards at 1 pm
• Registration: Registrations will be taken on-site the day of the event beginning at 5 am at the Program Center
• Fees: $20 Adult (16 & under free)
