14th Annual Black Film Festival

February 21 - February 23, 2025

Now in its 14th year, this annual three-day event showcases films made by independent filmmakers. It features panel discussions, matinee screenings for middle and high school students, and conversations with filmmakers and industry professionals. With an audience of over 1,200 attendees, the event takes place during Black History Month and aims to celebrate Black culture through independent film and meaningful discussions. Join Gary native Bill Johnson, host and Hollywood actor, for an exciting experience! The host committee will provide transportation or cover housing costs for select featured entrants.
